TIMPANI TYMPANOMETER


The portable Timpani tympanometer is the ideal solution for performing middle ear screening tests in a simple, fast, and accurate way. Thanks to its lightweight and compact design, Timpani is easy to carry and use, making it perfect for professionals on the move. The basic version of Timpani allows automatic tympanometry using a 226 Hz probe tone, with the option to add optional licenses for acoustic reflex testing and pure tone audiometry.

Lightweight and Compact

With a weight of only 340 g and dimensions of 65 x 44 x 240 mm, Timpani is extremely portable and easy to handle.

Color Screen with Touch Interface

The large 2.8” color graphic display (43.2x57.6 mm) with 240x320 pixel resolution offers an intuitive and easy-to-navigate user interface.

Advanced Functions

Automatic Tympanometry

Timpani performs automatic tympanometries with a scan rate of 400 daPa/sec and a pressure range from +200 to -400 daPa. The probe tone is 226 Hz at 85 dB SPL.

Acoustic Reflex (with license 53563)

The acoustic reflex test includes ipsilateral stimulation at 226 Hz, with tests available for automatic threshold and fixed intensity. Stimuli include frequencies of 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 kHz (with Plus reflex license), with a maximum intensity of 100 dB HL (ipsi).

Pure Tone Audiometry (with license 53564)

Pure tone audiometry covers a frequency range from 125 to 8000 Hz and an intensity from -10 to 100 dB HL. The input is pure tone and the output is AC.
