Accu-Chek Aviva is the test strip for self-monitoring blood glucose to be
used with the Accu-Chek Aviva meter.

Robust and easy to handle,
it features a large Y-shaped sample area, called Y-Easy Fill, which
allows simple and safe application of the blood sample with a minimal
amount, only 0.6 microliters, both with the classic method and with the AST method (blood
collection from alternative sites to the fingertip).

Inside the strip
there are 8 gold electrodes that perform more than 150 automatic quality checks,
to provide result accuracy.

They are able to verify
the integrity of the strip and reagents based on humidity and external temperature,
any damage to the strip and the amount of blood deposited, with
an error signal in case of insufficient blood and the possibility of re-dosing
within 5 seconds.

Each box of strips contains a Smart Code
for coding, in which all the information relating to the characteristics
of the strips being used is included.

The strip bottle makes
opening and closing easy thanks to a snap-on cap attached to the bottle
itself.
In addition, the desiccant is distributed evenly on the
walls and offers better preservation of the strips.

Aviva strips are available in packs of 25 and 50 strips.

Measurements
must be carried out under medical supervision.
