Compliance with Regulations

Our indicator tape complies with UNI EN 867-2, which establishes the requirements for non-biological systems used in sterilizers. In particular, the product meets the following requirements:

• 5.1.2: Exposure to 121°C for a time between 3 and 10 minutes to show complete color change.


• 5.1.3: Exposure to 134°C for a time between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to show complete color change.

These tests were carried out by the Laboratory “Studio Ambiente S.r.l.”, ensuring the product's reliability even after forced aging of 10 weeks at 70°C.

Instructions for Use

1. Cut a piece of indicator tape to the required size for proper sealing of the package.


2. Apply the tape to the package to be sterilized.


3. Place the package inside the autoclave and start the steam sterilization cycle.


4. At the end of the cycle, remove the material and check the tape's color change from white to brown.
