Anti-drip (PRIME-STOP) and anti-emptying (AIR-STOP) infusion set for the infusion of medications (e.g., medications to restore hydro-saline balance, for parenteral nutrition, volume expanders, antibiotics, cytostatics, other medications, etc.), infusion solutions, and parenteral nutrition through appropriate infusion routes.

Composition

• 
  Perforator: double-way (liquids and air) equipped with air and liquid holes spaced to minimize air bubble recalls in the liquid path. Smooth to avoid detachment of fragments from the elastomeric membrane of bottles/bags/bottles during perforation.
  


• 
  Drip Chamber: Equipped with AirStop filter with a filtering capacity of 15 µm thermally welded to the base of the chamber capable of retaining particles and preventing air from entering the tubing following the emptying of the drip chamber. This mechanism allows the drip chamber to be refilled multiple times without air ingress.
  


• 
  Air Intake Valve: For pressure compensation during infusion from rigid plastic or glass bottles. Equipped with an antibacterial, hydrophobic filter with a filtering capacity of 1.2 µm and protected by an easily openable cap ("open-close" device). The valve complies with NIOSH 2004 standards for "Closed System," isolating the system to avoid contamination of the line and environment.
