Description:

The Fast ECG Chest Strap is an innovative device designed to facilitate the acquisition of the electrocardiogram (ECG) without the need to shave the patient's chest hair. This tool has proven extremely useful in clinical practice, simplifying the ECG recording process for any type of patient, both male and female, regardless of build.


The device is easily positioned on the chest of the supine patient, with electrodes V1 and V2 correctly aligned. The strap extends to position electrode V6 in the mid-axillary line, ensuring that all other electrodes are automatically positioned correctly. The suction cup adheres to the skin, and a simple press on the pump secures the strap to the chest for the time required to perform the electrocardiogram.


For longer examinations, such as heart rhythm assessment, specific plates can be screwed onto the suction cups, allowing the use of standard disposable self-adhesive electrodes. The patient cable terminals are easily inserted into the electrodes and secured with a screw, which can also be used for anchoring the clip terminal.

Patient Application

1. Connect the patient cable to the 6 precordial electrodes


2. Connect the peripheral electrodes (not connected to the device) to the patient as usual


3. Apply conductive spray to the contact points of the precordial electrodes or to the electrodes themselves


4. Place the device on the chest of the supine patient so that the upper electrodes correspond to positions V1 and V2 and stretch the device so that the last electrode corresponds to position V6. The other electrodes will automatically position themselves in positions V3, V4, V5


5. Secure the device by adhering the cups to the skin and creating a vacuum in them using the pumps


6. Start the electrocardiogram recording


7. For prolonged monitoring, secure the device with double-sided adhesive discs by screwing the appropriate plates onto the suction cups
