Zinc oxide gel gauze bandage

Gelocast is a ready-to-use, inelastic gauze bandage impregnated with cellulose-based zinc oxide gel. It is indicated for the creation of semi-rigid, compressive, supportive and offloading bandages.

Thanks to its non-elastic structure, it exerts a low resting pressure and a high pressure during activity, offering strong resistance to muscle expansion.

Indications for use

Gelocast is indicated for:

  Compressive bandages for phlebological indications
  


• 
  Support and offloading bandages for ligament injuries
  


• 
  Support bandages for joints
  


• 
  Treatment after removal of a plaster cast, to help reduce or absorb post-traumatic edema
  

Contraindications

Gelocast must not be used in case of:

• 
  Obliterative arteriopathy of the lower limbs, stages III and IV
  


• 
  Decompensated heart failure
  


• 
  Septic phlebitis
  


• 
  Phlegmasia coerulea dolens
