Instructions for Use

1. Open the HELIX cannula.


2. Fold the strip along the crease, with the indicator ink facing inward or outward.


3. Insert the folded strip into the cannula capsule.


4. Close the HELIX cannula again.


5. Perform a sterilization cycle.


6. At the end of the test, open the capsule and remove the indicator.


7. Check the ink color change: if the area has completely changed from light blue to dark green, it means that saturated steam has effectively penetrated the cannula.


8. Use the adhesive side of the strip for convenient permanent filing.

Sterilization Parameters

To achieve the color change of the indicator ink, the following parameters must be observed:

• 134°C saturated steam: for 3.5 minutes.


• 121°C saturated steam: for 15 minutes.
