Horizontal Laminar Flow Hood – Mod. 1800 FLO
General Description
The horizontal laminar flow hood mod. 1800 FLO has been designed and manufactured to ensure the handling of products in controlled contamination conditions (e.g., sterile preparations, microbiological media).
It generates a sterile working zone in ISO class 5, protecting the handled product from any environmental contamination.
Operating Principle
The laminar flow consists of unidirectional sterile air flowing in parallel streams at the same speed, avoiding turbulence.
The air drawn from above is pre-filtered, then pushed through an absolute HEPA filter H14 (99.995%).
The airflow exits in front of the operator and flows parallel to the work surface, then dispersing into the environment.
Alternatively, the hood can be equipped with a ULPA U15 filter (efficiency 99.9995% – ISO 4).
