Linovera Spray for pressure ulcers 30ml 
 

Linovera® by B. Braun is a solution based on essential, polyunsaturated and hyperoxygenated fatty acids of plant origin (EFA), indicated for the prevention and treatment of stage I pressure ulcers.

EFA, metabolic precursors of prostaglandins, are useful for maintaining a condition of integrity and epidermal elasticity and the skin's water barrier. The absence or deficiency of EFA leads to a disturbance in prostaglandin production and to the deterioration of the skin condition: eczema, erythema, thinning of the skin.
 

Linovera® acts by increasing skin resistance and promoting capillary repair through the regeneration of epidermal cells, thus preventing the onset of lesions.

The hyperoxygenated fatty acids (EFA) present in Linovera® promote blood microcirculation, reduce the risk of ischemia and facilitate the renewal of epidermal cells, increasing skin resistance against agents that cause pressure ulcers. At the same time they protect against friction, rebuilding the hydrolipidic protective film of the epidermis, reduce skin fragility and prevent dehydration. In addition, thanks to their antioxidant activity, they also reduce damage caused by free radicals.

Directions for use

Linovera® is indicated for the prevention and treatment of:

• stage I skin ulcers


• skin areas subjected to prolonged pressure load


• 
  skin areas showing redness caused by compression, rubbing, cutting
  


• 
  perilesional skin in the presence of vascular ulcers
   
  

Composition per 1000 grams:

• Mixture of hyperoxygenated fatty acids: 986.5 g.


• Rosemary essential oil: 10 g.


• Oil extract of centella asiatica: 2.5 g.


• Oil extract of aloe vera: 1 g.
