Immersion oil for high-resolution microscopy

The immersion oil is specifically formulated for use in high-resolution microscopy with immersion objectives.

It is applied between the sample surface and the microscope lens, allowing optimal light transmission and greater image sharpness.

Thanks to its constant refractive index and high homogeneity, it reduces the deviation of light rays, improving the quality and effectiveness of observation.

Suitable for histological, cytological, hematological and bacteriological preparations of human origin, after fixation and staining.

Appearance: viscous liquid, straw-yellow in color, insoluble in water

Refractive index: 1,515 – 1,517

Density at 20°C: 1,024 – 1,027 g/ml

Viscosity at 20°C: 100 – 120 cP

Transmittance at 380 nm (1 cm): min 65%

Transmittance at 400 nm (1 cm): min 78%

Transmittance at 450 nm (1 cm): min 90%

Use

The product is ready to use, no dilution required.

Apply a few drops directly onto the sample.

The dropper bottle allows precise and clean dosing, avoiding soiling the microscope slide.

The airtight closure of the spout keeps the viscosity unchanged over time.
