The rapid Covid-19 and Influenza A+B Antigen Swab (nasopharyngeal swab) is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A and Influenza B antigens present in the human nasopharynx. For professional in vitro diagnostic use only.

Separate results indicate the detection of SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A+B antigens. The antigen is generally detectable in upper respiratory tract samples during the acute phase of infection. Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens, but clinical correlation with the patient’s medical history and other diagnostic information is necessary to determine infectious status.

Positive results do not exclude bacterial infections or co-infections from other viruses. Negative results should be confirmed by a molecular test, if necessary for patient management.
