Usage Recommendations

Mixing

Gently invert the sample 6-8 times immediately after collection to ensure proper mixing of the EDTA additive with the sample.

Centrifugation

It is important not to centrifuge tubes containing K3 EDTA, to avoid cell lysis and ensure reliable results.

Sample Storage

Sample Temperature and Storage

• Up to 24°C: Store for a maximum of 6 hours.


• At 2 - 4°C: Store for less than 24 hours.

Procedure for Obtaining Plasma

Centrifuge at 1300 g for 10 minutes at a temperature of 20 - 25 °C. Follow the instructions in the table below for plasma separated from the cellular component.
